About Cathy Hoysa
Cathy Hoysa has been working with horses her entire life. In addition to her strong background in eventing and fox hunting, Cathy spent countless hours obtaining horsemanship, life-long learning, and teaching skills through working towards her Pony Club A Certification. While she loves to ride and compete herself, Cathy's true passion and specialization is helping riders develop the solid foundation they need.
As a life-long learner, Cathy has taken the time to focus on her growth in dressage. She earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medal. As a competitive dressage rider, Cathy has a strong appreciation for flat work. She believes that through good flat work, horses and riders will become more successful in any discipline they might pursue.
When she is not in the barn, Cathy can be found spending time with her beloved Corgis, Kevin, Gucci, Pooh Bear, Winnie, and Bucky. The corgi crew are the official barn mascots and love to attend shows with the team. Whether she is going to a horse show, a corporate event, or anything in between, Cathy never leaves home without them.
